Even with facilities as small as this, the company is able to satisfy the international market's demand for Removab® and provide enough material for clinical studies to test follow-up candidates for Triomab®.

This is in stark contrast to the biopharmaceutical industry, where production volumes of several thousand liters are the rule. Due to the tri-functional format's remarkable effectiveness, dosing requirements are very low. Compared with conventional antibodies, only about a thousandth of the usual dose is required per patient and treatment cycle.
