The STEP Award recognizes innovative high-growth companies and will help to get an idea accepted according to the motto “spirit to expand”. This prize is awarded by four partners: F.A.Z.-Institut innovation projects, Infraserv Höchst, industrial service providers and operators of the Industriepark Höchst. The aim of the STEP Award is to create a positive climate for start-ups and to give companies the courage to be independent and successful.

During the award ceremony in Frankfurt on November 25, 2009 TRION Pharma was announced winner of the STEP Award 2009 in the category “Product / Technology”.

The aim of the Biotechnica award is to celebrate the achievements of innovative European companies in the field of biotechnology and the life sciences and is awarded each year by Deutsche Messe AG and its partners.

TRION Pharma was honored as one of the three finalists of the Biotechnica Award 2009 during the festive opening of BIOTECHNICA in Hannover on October 5, 2009.

Ernst & Young organizes the contest for companies “Entrepreneur of the Year” in 50 countries around the world.  An independent jury consisting of high-level entrepreneurs and scientists chooses the “Entrepreneur of the Year” in the categories manufacturing, trade, services, information and communication technology/media as well as start-ups. The award identifies and honors entrepreneurial top performances.

As a finalist TRION Pharma has reached the “Entrepreneur of the Year 2009”-contest and belongs to Germany’s most innovative companies.
